Nearby there's a great restaurant and cocktail bar. From the beach, you'll be able to see Arrabida Natural Park, which is located on the northern shore of the Sado River.
The house is surrounded in farmland, and as a result you'll be able to pick up abundant local produce.Farther afield, there are many places to visit, and many restaurants offering great local food. There are also many more beaches. Comporta itself is worth a visit, as is the nearby Cais Palafitico, a uniquely beautiful wooden fisherman's pier.
