Casa Trullo, Puglia

CISTERNINO, PUGLIA, ITALY

6 BR | 8 BA | SLEEPS 12

Created as a luxurious space where guests can truly embrace the present and live lavishly in the moment, this villa is a combination of Puglia’s cone-topped trullo structures with several additional independent stone buildings. The complex of bleached, stacked rock buildings is built around a vast pool and solarium, a generous outdoor living space and an outdoor recreational garden with a gym, paddle court, playground, and organic veggie garden.

Designed to accommodate up to 12 people inside a half a dozen fairytale-like trulli, Trullo Mo’ offers more than the traditional vaulted volumes of the region’s iconic, stacked stone cone structures. There’s a large stone annex to the trulli buildings housing a spacious communal living area that overlooks a vast pool, plus three additional residences on the 16-acre lot. The three independent suites each offer intimate quarters for two, furnished with breezy, light linens, exposed stone walls, and beautiful en-suite bathrooms with showers.

In the main residence, three double bedrooms with spacious walk-in closets and private baths join the large, ultra-modern kitchen and well-appointed, open concept living and dining areas, in addition to a comfortable living room surrounded by windows. The décor is elegantly minimal and plant filled, with a neutral color palette and contemporary accents in the fixtures and furnishings.

Created for outdoor living, with plenty of space for a group to spread out and find solitude and fun, family activity, this villa for rent in Italy has a large saltwater swimming pool, an outdoor solarium and a circular stone gazebo designed for outdoor entertaining. The gazebo’s dining table seats 20, and a wood-fired oven and barbecue, plus outdoor dishwashing area, were designed for entertaining.

A second circular stone gazebo was created with relaxation and meditation in mind. Hung with beautiful global-inspired lamps at its center, it is whitewashed and alluring, with a built-in, comfortably cushioned crescent bench encircling the space that’s open air and breezy, with cool terrazzo floors, and additional bathrooms.

A third circular stone gazebo has a more active purpose, housing a gym, sports equipment and shower for your post-workout refresh. Little guests will love the colorful outdoor playscape and organic vegetable garden, and additional services such as wellness, cooking, concierge and housekeeping services are available upon request.
