The house is just a short drive from the fishing village of Carvoeiro, a bustling coastal town and minutes from the coast and some of the best beaches in the Western Algarve, including Benagil Beach, Albanderia, Mariniha, and Armacao de Pera, Carvoeiro beach, Vale Centeanes, and Carvalho beach.
The nearby resort town of Portimao is to the west on the bank of the Arade river-facing Ferragudo on the opposite bank. Above the coast are the Monchique hills, with paths and waters for walking, biking, and canoeing, and don’t miss the Moorish town of Silves a short drive to the north. Faro is an hour away to the east, and the entire region is known for its outstanding restaurants with excellent wines.
